Dr. Robert M. Lindner is a native of suburban Detroit, Michigan. He graduated with undergraduate honors from the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor, Michigan. Dr. Lindner graduated from Wayne State University School of Medicine in Detroit, Michigan and became a member of Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society in 1987. He then completed his urology specialty training at the University of Utah in Salt Lake City, Utah. He began private practice in Louisville, Kentucky in July of 1992. Dr. Lindner has served as Chief of Surgery at Baptist Hospital East.

Dr. Lindner is certified by the American Board of Urology and is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons. He is an active member of the American Urological Association, the American Association of Clinical Urologists, the American Medical Association, the Kentucky Medical Association, and the Greater Louisville Medical Association.

Specialties

Dr. Lindner's special interests include laparoscopic urologic surgery, urologic oncology, stone disease and female urology. He recently developed a new local anesthetic technique for control of discomfort during prostate thermotherapy.
