Dr. Buschemeyer has been practicing Urology in Louisville, Kentucky since 1978. He completed his premedical education at Spring Hill College in Mobile, Alabama. He graduated from the University of Louisville School of Medicine and went on to Vanderbilt Hospital in Nashville, Tennessee for his general surgery internship. His residency in general surgery and urology was completed at the University of Louisville School of Medicine. Dr. Buschemeyer graduated from the School of Aerospace Medicine in San Antonio, Texas and served as a Flight Surgeon in the United States Air Force, Langley AFB, Virginia from 1973 to 1975.
Dr. Buschemeyer is a clinical professor of urology at the University of Louisville School of Medicine and is certified by the American Board of Urology. He is a member of the Greater Louisville Medical Society, Kentucky Medical Association, Kentucky Urological Association, American Urological Association, American Medical Association, American Society of Clinical Urologists, and Association of American Physicians and Surgeons.
Dr. Buschemeyer is licensed to practice medicine and surgery in Kentucky, Indiana and Virginia. He is on the active medical staff at Baptist Hospital East and Norton Suburban Hospital and courtesy staff at Jewish Hospital and Clark County Memorial Hospital.
